The Organization of the Benidorm Chess Open, on the afternoon of Sunday, December 11, 2022, organizes the direct transfer by bus from the Hotel Meliá Benidorm to the Hotel Sunway Playa Golf & Spa in Sitges exclusively for the players and companions who are going to participate in the SUNWAY SITGES INTERNATIONAL CHESS FESTIVAL, and who have participated in the Benidorm Chess Open.

It is also possible to arrive from Rome by train or boat (one night), or even by car (approximately 14 hours).

How to get to Sitges: the best way to arrive at Sitges is to fly from Alicante airport (about 40 minutes from Benidorm by car or taxi) to Barcelona (1:10 h. flight time); from Barcelona’s airport there are several options (taxi, bus, train) to get to Sitges (30 minutes). You can also get to Sitges from Benidorm by train, bus or rental car (4:15 hours approximately).

How to get there from Sitges: to arrive at Lorca at the end of the Sitges’ tournament you can possibly rent a car or take a bus (about 6 hours away). It is also possible to fly from Barcelona to Alicante (1:10 h approximately), and take a taxi or a bus from there to Lorca (1:30 h.).

How to get there from Sitges: the best way to get to Böblingen at the end of the Sitges’ tournament is by plane from Barcelona to Stuttgart (approximately 2:10 h. flight time), and from there by taxi or bus to Böblingen (30 min.). Another option is to travel by train to Sttutgart, and it is even possible to reach Böblingen by car (approximately 12 hours away).
